We love the objects that stop you in your tracks. The piece that makes your heart race. The one you walk away from, tell yourself you don’t need… and then simply have to go back for.

With more than 30 years’ experience in furniture and interiors, we have an eye for craftsmanship, character and those little details that make something special. But we’re equally attracted to the eccentric, the unexpected and the wonderfully unnecessary.

Our finds come from across Britain and our travels through France, Spain, the Balearics, Norway, the Baltics, Eastern Europe and beyond — from brocantes and antique centres to markets, auctions, reclamation yards and tiny shops discovered completely by accident.
Sometimes we’re deliberately hunting.
Sometimes we’re supposed to be on holiday.
The distinction has become increasingly blurred.
There are no rules. It might be old, beautiful, architectural, curious or gloriously eccentric.
Sometimes we buy with our heads. More often, one of us falls in love with something and persuades the other that we can somehow get it home.
